The Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies, Charles University offers a large selection of Czech courses at varying levels of difficulty and intensity. We cater for both those interested in intensive daily courses of varying length (year-long/semester/six-week), as well as those who prefer less intensive courses. For students who are unable to attend lessons, we offer language courses via the internet.

For high school leavers we offer intensive year-long preparatory courses in Czech language and specialist subjects. Thanks to this course your chances of passing the entrance exams at your chosen university in the Czech Republic will greatly increase.

The deadline for submitting applications is Maj 15th, 2020 extended to  Maj 31th, 2020!

We are opening a three-semester preparatory course, conducted in English, for additional preparation for studying in Czech university programs conducted in English. The course is held in the Podebrady study centre - Three-semester Preparatory Course in English.

We of course also welcome to our courses university graduates who would like to study for a Master's or PhD in the Czech Republic.

We offer high quality at a reasonable price - 36 weeks' tuition of 35 hours a week (year-long preparatory courses)!
